Texture and opacity can only be changed by altering the firing temperature and/or atmosphere treatment of the glaze.
Glaze texture and opacity can only be controlled by adding or subtracting opacifiers such as tin or zirconium oxides.
Changes to the unity formula of a glaze will change the original balance of oxides resulting in possible changes to texture and opacity.
