Matrix V6 Limits Graphs

MatrixV6 Tour

Limit graphs are used to display a seger formula for comparison with the oxide limits suggested for Matrix's current temperature setting.

The first graph below shows all of the limits on a bar graph while next displays only the Al2O3 and the SiO2 limits.

These graphs are updated automatically as changes are made to a formula or recipe on screen or when the Temperature/Cone settings are changed.

Limits Graphs

The Limits Graph window displays the limits ranges for the set temperature as horizontal bars.

The graph will show the unity formulae for recipes loaded into any or all of the three available recipe panels.

The Actions menu allows for the selection of alternative sets of limit formulae

Oxide levels in the currently displayed recipe/formula are shown withyellow, red or green indicators.

In this example the formulae for two recipes are displayed.

Al2O3 : SiO2 Limits Graphs

The Al2O3 : SiO2 limits graph shows limits ranges for these oxides in the form of a blue rectangle.

The Al2O3 & SiO2 oxide levels for the three recipes displayed in the Recipe to Formula windw are indicated by either yellow, red or green indicators on the graph.

A second limits rectangle can be displayed for guidance when changing the maturing temperature of a glaze.

Database AlSi Graph

This graph displays the Al2O3 and SiO2 unity formula values for all of the recipes stored in a recipe database.

A particular recipe can be targeted and displayed fully in a seperate window.

The limits range can be changed in the temperature/cone panel.
