MATRIX
uses fifty four seperate windows and dialogue boxes.
The
information in many of these windows is updated automatically
when calculations are being performed or changes are
being made to a displayed recipe or formula.
The
basic working environments are in the Matrix
Window It has five different tabbed
modes or operational environments each of which is
independant from the other so that operations in one
environment do not effect activities underway in another.
- Recipe
to Formula: recipes
are entered and formulae are automatically calculated
together with expansion, ratio & surface
tension
- Formula
to Recipe:formulae
are entered or loaded and may be converted into
recipes using materials selected from raw material
databases
- Blends: blends
may be generated using recipes previously entered
and saved.
- Raw
Materials:raw
materials may be displayed and edited or new
materials may entered into a database
- Colourants: colourant
materials may be displayed and edited or new colourants
may entered into a database
- In
addition to the main window there are many other windows
accessible for displaying other information e.g.
- Limit
formula: are
displayed on a bar graph showing oxide limit
ranges and references for camparison to any currently
displayed recipe's formula
